Outreach program brings STEAM camp to hospitalized youngsters

As part of my outreach work with CU Science Discovery, I launched a hospital-based STEAM camp at Children’s Hospital Colorado to bring hands-on science experiences to young patients. Partnering with CU undergraduates and hospital staff, we designed safe, engaging educational kits—including paper engineering activities and programmable robots—that provided both learning and joy to kids during their hospital stays.
